How to remove system tray icon

Hi,
I have recently uninstall some of the programs from ADD/REMOVE Software, by doing this the software has to get completely uninstall but this is not happening.Whenever i try start my Windows I get the uninstall software icons displays in my system tray.I don't known why i am facing such kind of issue.This is regarding with few of the softwares only.Can anyone help me out with this issue.

Sure i will help you out with this try to follow the below steps:-

1. Click on Start.
2. Type regedit in the Run Option.
3. Now Browse to the following Key
   
4. [HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\TrayNotify]
   
5. Now delete the PastIconsStream values.
   
6. Reboot your Computer and now you won't be able to find it icons inn this system tray.

I have tried to follow the above steps on my friends PC.Instead of deleting a specific icon all of my system try icons got deleted.Please check the post i have already mentioned that i want to delete specific software icon only from my system tray.

I was also facing such kind of issue try to follow below steps:-

1. Click on Start.
2. Type regedit in Run Option.
3. Now Navigate to the following location
   
4. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
   
5. Select the value (software name) which you want to remove from system tray.
   
6. Click on delete and reboot your PC.
