Re: Date and number your slides in PowerPoint 2007

In the manner of the headers and footers in Word, it is easy to apply on each slide of a presentation slide number or date. This is especially useful for long presentations or presentations that often develop or on which we work together.

To add a date or number of slides on your entire presentation in PowerPoint 2007, follow these steps:

    • Open the Insert tab in the Ribbon Office

    • Click the button The header and footer

    • To insert numbers in the Slide tab check the slide number (this number will be displayed at the bottom right of each slide)

    • To insert the date, check the date and time, or you can check the fixed and you manually enter a date or you check the automatic date to view today's date (the drop-down menu lets you choose different presentations date and time).

    • Click on the Do not display the title slide (in general, does not this information on the home slide presentation)

    • To accept, click Apply everywhere.

    Note 1:

It is possible to display the date and the numbers on some slides and not the entire presentation. To do this, go in Outline, select the slides that you want to show these items, then proceed as above but confirm by clicking on the Apply button (instead of "Apply everywhere").

    Note 2:
    • You can change the look and position of the date and number:
    • Click the View tab tape Office
    • Under "Display presentations, click Slide Master
    • Change the position and then the style elements according to your convenience
    • Leave edit mode mask by clicking Turn off Mask (tab "Slide Master").
