I am trying to install Texas Instruments OHCI Compliant IEEE 1394 Host Controller firewire card driver on Windows XP home with Service Pack 2. When this card was installed in windows xp, then it was automatically installed with all the drivers and I didnt get any seperate drivers cd with this card as well. But when I installed XP pro then the system is asking to insert a disc to install its driver. I tried to search for a driver and found a file called GIC 220U-ALi-33s-1-4-7.zip which extracted to EHCI_147.exe, and after I tried to install it then I got message that "Windows XP SP1 has USB 2.0 controller inbox driver. Do you want to install ALi usb 2.0 controller driver?" I dont know whether to install this on my machine or not, any ideas?
