    Tabs - Desktop and Screen Saver disappear from Display

    This is my home desktop running on Windows XP Home Edition with SP2. After a long time I decided to change the wallpaper and screensaver to make my desktop look bit attractive. But when I went to Display Properties I found that there are no Desktop and Screen Saver tabs any more. I tried logging in with other Administrator ID and still the same result, tabs are missing.

    How can I correct this? Please provide some fix. Thank you.

    Had you installed any other third party display software or application for customization or any other purpose? If yes, this could be the reason for the problem mentioned above. Anyways, I have a fix. You just need to download this .reg file, save it on your desktop. Double click to RUN and click OK when prompted for permission. This will fix the registry keys and the display tab will be back again.
