Home XP will not start after SP3 upgrade

I recently did a upgrade for Windows XP with SP3. After that it restarted and then it will not start in normal mode but it can run only in safe mode? When I check in the windowsupdate.log then I can see an 'FATAL: Failed to get session from datastore, error 0x80004002'. I also get the messages 'Reboot Pending'. When windows starts and I get the logo then it goes into a restart and comes up with the screen that says Windows had issues and do I want to start safe mode, etc. Can anyone please help? Thanks.

There are free unlimited installation and compatibility support availble for Windows XP but only for Service Pack 3 version, check the dates given below in the links:
