    Config.Msi

I am using a new desktop computer which is running on Windows XP for quite sometime now. I found a folder on the C: drive called Config.Msi that I think has been empty all the time and which I am quite sure that wasnot there on the pc we just replaced which also had XP. So does anyone know what is this folder exactly used for? Thanks.

    RE: Config.Msi

Actually Config.msi is the MS installer for office suite and other applications it might be needed when installing a new software or uninstalling a software. Chech the below link for more information:

Its basically a part of an installer for some applications you have installed, you can leave it there as it is.
