I have a desktop computer at home which I use just twice or thrice a week. It is running with Windows XP, Office XP, Internet Explorer 6. Now the problem I’m facing on this system since past few days. The major one of them is it get the following error message while shutting down the system:
“Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
Runtime error!
Program: C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office 10\Winword.exe
This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the applications support team for more information.”
This error started appearing all of a sudden. If you talk about changes, let me tell you that I couple of days I was getting an error saying “IEXPLORE.EXE - Application Error. The instruction at "0x62304390" referenced memory at "0x62304390". The memory could not be 'read'.” Hence I just disabled Yahoo and Google Toolbar from my Internet Explorer browser. That’s it. No other changes done.
Now can you guys please tell me how can I fix the above mentioned error message? Many thanks.
