I recently bought a new HP Printer, installed it on my Windows XP Pro running desktop. During the installation it installed several HP related applications on the system. That’s fine. But the problem I’m facing is in every 10 to 15 minutes a pop comes up named “HP Product Assistant” on my screen. The only job of this assistant is to tell me that notify me when there is an error with the printer or something. That’s it. There use to be an OK button which when clicked, the pop up goes away and appears again after 15 minutes.
This is very annoying. I don’t need it any more. Can anyone please tell me how can I get rid of it permanently? Many Thanks.
