    memory can not be read

We have a domain running with several client computers in our college. Suddenly from yesterday we started receiving the following error message on all computers:

    ApplicationName - Application Error
The instruction at "memory address" referenced memory at "memory reference". The memory could not be "read".

Click on OK to terminate the program
Click on CANCEL to debug the program

After doing some research on the same I came to know that the error is pointing to different memory address and memory references in startup and also shutdown. Is that correct? If yes please let me know how can I fix the problem? It will be very good if there is any kind of patch from MS to fix the same?

    Thanks for your helps.

I have seen this error for the first time and hence not able to get what exactly is causing the problem. Can you just check out you Event Viewer and post the error mentioned there regarding the same? It will help us to identify what files are responsible for the error.

Reply back with the Event Viewer log.

Hello Omeshh, you need to post Event viewer log. Copy an paste the same here.Until you reply, just try out the following steps and see if it works.

Go to http://www.adobe.com/ and reinstall again without uninstalling the Adobe Flash Player and Adobe Shockwave Player.Sometimes downloading through a third party website, the Adobe Flash Player ActiveX, doesn't install correctly.
