My Computer opening slow/delayed

I am having some issue after reinstalling Windows XP on my computer, it will take more than 2 minutes for opening. The same thing happens when opening My Computer both from the desktop icon and from the Windows Explorer, noting that with Explorer opening my Documents is opened right away. After everything opened on Explorer then it works like properly. Can anyone please help.

Did you try going to Exporer > Tools > Disconnect Network Drives and disconnect all. You can also go to Start > Control Panel > Folder Options > View tab > and then uncheck the 'automatically search for network folders and printers' option.
