Outlook Express 6 - Error Message

I am getting the below error message:

"Outlook Express could not be started. The application was unable to open the Outlook Express message store. Your computer may be out of memory or disc full. Contact Microsoft support (0x80004005)"

I have recently started using One Note and had to download Desktop Search from the microsoft website. This message comes up all the time. Outlook Express is working properly and it will open and retrieves the messages normally. Does anyone have any idea? Thanks

It might be that the Windows Desktop Search and AntiVirus may be causing the problem. So try to turn off the email scanning in your antivirus software and see if that works. Email scanning should be always turned off with Outlook Express or it will not go out at all.

The desktop search is designed to be used with XP SP2 or better, that would imply you have to have Internet Explorer 7 to use it.
