Update for Windows Media Format 11 SDK (KB929399) install continously

I need some help with a Windows Update install. There is a pending update which keeps on installing on its own. First when the update was found the setup began. But upon every restart I can find the same update pending. I am not able to understand the reason behind the same. Whey update just keeps on running again and again. The update is Windows Media Format 11 SDK (KB929399). I can also found a manual download of the same. Does installing the same manually will do the job. Thanks.

Yes just do the same. Just install the update manually. Download the setup and then check back. I am sure that will be helpful for you. The update simply keeps on downloading again and again due to some corrupt or missing file. It is necessary that all files must be properly installed and then only it will stop. You can simply go in Control Panel and get rid of the installed update and then add back again.

I had faced the same issue before with another update. The update is buggy. Just ignore the installation. You can remove and then check for the same update after some time. Microsoft will provide the same update back again that will not crash or give you such problem. A manual update can help you here to some extent. But if this does not work ignore it.
