Import from a DVD to movie maker

I have a Windows XP Service Pack 3 system. I recently bought a new Sony DCR-DVD105 handycam. We have recorded several videos in the same from out last trip. Now I want to create a Movie merging and editing all those video so that I can upload it on web. The videos are already recoded those videos in VR mode & Video mode on a DVD-RW. But the problem I am facing is I am not able to import them into Windows Movie Maker. I don’t know what could be the reason. Somebody please help. It is very important for me.

Windows Movie Maker wont support all file formats hence you are not able to import your DVD videos. The best solution is to copy the videos from DVD to your Hard Drive. Download/install and good Video Converter and convert those videos in .wmv format and then import them in Windows Movie Maker. It is so simple.
