My problem started since I installed Service Pack 2 on my Windows XP system. As per configuration my system is running on Intel P4 3Ghz CPU, Gigabyte 8KNXP rev2 Mobo, 300MB RAIDed (stripe) C:, 300MB RAIDed (stripe) D:, Radeon 9800Pro VC, Antec 450W PSU, 2 x 512MB DDR400 Ram, NEC DVDRW-DL. I am using this since several months with Nero as my one of the important professional tool and never had any problem. Two weeks ago I installed SP2 and since then whenever I try using Nero, I get Blue Scree. On the restart when I check Event Viewer, this is what I get listed over there:
“Event viewer entry: The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x00000019 (0x00000020, 0x85f6c940, 0x85f6c9f0, 0x1a16000a). A dump was saved in: C:\WINDOWS\Minidump\Mini021905-09.dmp.”
This happens each time I launch Nero, remember this was not the problem before installing Nero. Apart from this, another problem I am facing is, no matter I use Nero or not, atleast once a day I get Bluescreen on its own. Does anyone else thinks the problem is because of Nero? I doubt because I have one more system running with XP and Nero and I already SPE installed on the same but never had any such problem. Its been a month I updated the same with Service Pack 2 and use Nero as well, fortunately no BSOD so far.
I don’t think it can be due to drivers as well because while troubleshooting these BSODs I also updated entire system driver but the problem remains. Do anyone of you have any idea what could be the problem and how can I fix the same? Is reverting back and uninstalling SP2 is the only solution for this?
