How to access BIOS after stop 0x0000007F(0x00000008, 0x80042000 ..)error

I am using Sony Vaio laptop and am getting some startup error. It will start first time and then it gives a blue screen with stop error
stop 0x0000007F(0x00000008, 0x80042000,0x00000000,0x00000000).

After turning off the computer, when I start again then it will show the safe mode screen? After checking all over the web for solution I found out that I have to do a diagnostic test. So, i tried to use the microsoft online crash test. Because the laptop does not have floppy drive, I made a CD to launch using CD but I cannot enter bios. I think that there might be some hardware issue, so I am seeking for help from you guys. Thanks

You have to access or hit the bios key before you get to the safe mode boot menu. After that start your computer and then immediately hit the bios key.

You can try to check the laptops manual for the correct key to enter the Bios setup. It must be displayed at power up, which is often the only time you can enter the bios. Different systems dont allow access to it from restarts.
