Never heard of any application with xero.exe? What application have you installed in your system which has the follow extension - xero.exe? Can you also tell us which operating system have you installed in your pc? Normally, the error "NET Framework Initialization Error" disappears by installing the latest version of the .NET Framework from the windows update website. You may need to uninstall it from the Add/Remove Programs area of the control panel, and reinstall it from Windows Update.

The file is an part of any application or software. After searching a lot I found that the file is related to a screensaver called Secret Island 3D. Check in control panel > add remove program that this screen saver is listed. Remove it and the error will be solved. The file is located in = %APPDATA%\7art\3D Secret Island\zero.exe. You have to run system restore to fix the error. Or else just delete the file from above location and run registry repair tool. There are many of free tools available.

    Hi peabodyyy,

Can you tell us what kind of program is Xero.exe and for what purpose it is used? Since there is no where mentioned about the program, I would only suggest you to uninstall it and check if you are getting the same problem or not? And have you tried installing the latest version of the Microsoft NET Framework in your pc?
