    Destination Host Unreachable

When I ping an ip address I am getting destination host unreachable message. I am using a Windows XP system. It is connected to a private network which is managed by SBS 2003 Domain. But somehow it looks like that my system is blocked or have limited access. I am trying to ping an ip not any website. My internet settings are configured manually by the network guy. But still there is some problem with the connection. I am having all information with me.

Try to put your system on automatic settings and then see. What you get when you type ipconfig /all. You must proper output there. Try to put them on automatic and then see. I am sure on automatic settings thing will be more fine. It will give you ample of proper output. It happens sometime due to improper ip or due to dns conflict. It is necessary that you must keep your settings on automatic so that it works fine.
