Internet Explorer will not connect

I’m facing some huge problem with all Internet Browsers on my PC. Let me explain one by one. Whenever I try opening Internet Explorer 7, sometimes it opens but wont load properly. In the bottom bar it keeps saying ‘Connecting’. And sometimes it just wont opens but I can see it running in the Task Manager process.

Same thing happens with Mozilla Firefox and Netscape browser. I can only seem them running in Task Manager process but they never open. The only way for browsing is using Google Chrome. No other choice.

Do you guys have any idea what is wrong with my system? Why none of the browsers are working on this system? Please help.

To me it probably appears like your system is infected with some malware or Virus. First thing you need to do is update your Antivirus program, and perform deep scan. See if it finds anything. Secondly you should try downloading Internet Explorer 8, install and see if it is working fine. If yet not then you need to format and install Windows again.

Hello Ruthe, just try out the following steps and see if you can fix the problem:First, try to clean up your caches, Internet files and delete cookies by going to Start > Control Panel > Double click Network and Internet Connections > Double click Internet Options. Clear History, Temporary Files and cookies. Once done, disable all Add-Ons and run IE.
