I have been advised to disable my download manager to allow me to download some software I have bought online. How can I do this? Thanks

Have you tried to manually install a Download Manager? Incase you did not, then you dont have a Download Manager installed? But if you have a Download Manager, then you will have to read its manual.

Well, if you didnt install a download manager till now, that is the software to manage and resume downloads that gets interrupted, then you will have nothing to do.

Can you tell us what kind of download manager you have installed in your pc? Can you also check whether the download manager has a Help File, user manual or website technical support?
