32 bit app on a 64 bit machine ODBC?

I am running in to weird issue that needs to be sorted as soon as possible. In my case when i am running an application written in VB 6 which uses ODBC connection for connecting to database on 64 bit operating system than it wont connect. I have tried using 64 bit ODBC connection (SQLNCLI.DLL) as well as ODBC connection (SQLSRV32.DLL) but no avail. I am not getting any error message as well because of which i am not able to make out the cause of the issue, I have gone through event logs and haven't found anything to be suspicious there. It will be very grateful if i get any help from here.

You will have to run 32-bit ODBC Administrative app to administer 32-bit ODBC.
