Conexant Audio and Modem driver(Vista x64) for Gateway Laptop 7510gx is finally found!

I have finally found working Conexant Audio and Modem driver(Vista x64) for Gateway Laptop 7510gx. Its on HP website, One can download and install it manually following below steps.

Unzip the downloaded file which includes audio and modem drivers folders
After that go in to Device manager, right click on Multimedia audio device, click on "have disk" and point the installer to audio folder. If at all you get a message saying something about compatibility than simply ignore it.

You will have to follow same steps for installing modem drivers.

Note - Sound won't work after waking from sleep, i am looking after a fix for this and will post back as soon as i come across one.

Hey Cic!cone i have found two upcoming updates of Vista, 938979 & 938194 which will fix "waking from sleep" issue. It hasn't been official but is available on the web.

Thanks for sharing, even i have tried installing Conexant Audio and Modem driver(Vista x64) in my compaq laptop and have got it working. Will check out the updated mentioned by Chapal for fixing waking from sleep issue.
