BSOD 0x0000001E on Windows 7 x64

I have started facing BSOD 0x0000001E on Windows 7 x64 frequently, i don't know why i am getting it. Is there anyone who is aware of it? I have never faced bsod before , i want to know if there's anything i can try out to find the cause of this issue and fix it as soon as possible.

Let me know if you have made any hardware or software changes in your system recently. By the time you can try running SFC/ SCANNOW command. If any of your system file might be missing or might have got corrupted than SFC/ SCANNOW command will restore it and repair it as well. You might have reboot your system for getting scan started, best of luck.

I have tried running SFC/ SCANNOW command after your suggestion but it did not helped. I still get same error code suddenly while working on my system. I have gone through some other threads where error code 0x0000001E was mentioned and have found some people saying reinstalling windows had helped them out. I don't mind reinstalling windows but i have kept it as my last option. If there is any other solution that i can try out rather than than please let me know. Further help regrading this will be appreciated.

I think doing a system restore will be a better idea rather than reinstalling windows. You can simply try restoring your system to a point when you were not encountering this BSOD. If BSOD 0x0000001E might be getting caused because of recent software changes in your system than system restore will help you out. If it doesn't than you can surely try reinstalling windows later.

There are several reason which can lead a system to bsod, as far as i am aware it can appear because of virus in system as well. If you have an updated antivirus installed in your system than run a through scan and check out if it is detecting anything. You can download and install recommended ones like Malwarebytes for carrying out scan.
