Is 32-bit driver possible on 64-bit Windows XP

I am having D-Link Wi-Fi USB-adapter installed on my system running Windows XP (32-bit). I am not having any issue with it but i was thinking of upgrading to Windows XP 64-bit. I have tried using same Wi-Fi USB-adapter with my one of my office XP 64-bit system but 32-bit driver inside 64-bit just failed. I will like to know if there is any possibility of using 32-bit driver on 64-bit Windows XP.

32-bit driver usually don't work on x64 but you can try editing .inf file for forcing the installation. If that doesn't than you can check out the chip used in your D-Link device and use 64-bit driver of similar chip manufacturer if available. There's nothing else you will be able to try other than that.
