Hi, I am using Windows Vista on a pretty good configured desktop but use to get Stop Error or BSOD every time while using any program that is based on high graphics. For example, VLC, ZoomPlayer, Windows Media Player, etc… And obviously I get the BSOD while playing games because they are based on the graphic card itself. I tried playing Bioshock and Unreal Tournament 3 and got the BSOD. My graphics card is NVidia PCI-E x16 GeForce 8600 GTS 512 MB. It’s a good one but still don’t know what the problem is. This is the error I get with the stop error:
I tried various troubleshooting but nothing helped so far. I updated mobo BIOs to v1404, ran memtest and verified the memory timing, even installed Vista Codec package and CCCP Codec package, ran windows updates, etcc. Nothing worked.BCCode: 101
