Screen Saver doesn't work... HELP

Hi, am running Vista Home Premium on Dell laptop (OEM version). Don’t know what’s wrong with my screen saver. It just wont work. Even checked the settings for the same, everything is proper. Tried find out some solution from other posts I found here but none of them worked for me. Somebody please help me make my screensaver work. Thank you.

I could have helped you but you haven’t mentioned the details required to understand the problem. How old is your laptop or Vista, was the screen saver working fine before, is it just not starting or quits as soon as it starts, etc ?

Please always explain the problem properly so that people can help you out.

Hey guys, me too struggling with the same. My laptop is just a month old now running with Windows Vista. Screen savers were working fine before but started getting problem since last week. no error message it just never goes idle it seems.

Any help please ?

I get the black screen once in a while. Here's what I do ....

I go to the Personalization... Screen Saver ...

Then, I move to another screen saver ... APPLY.

Then, I move back to the screen saver I like ... APPLY.

OKAY.

As simple as that.
