    Vista hangs indefinitely on shutdown

I have a Toshiba Satellite laptop which was running Windows Vista for many months till now, but all of a sudden it has started hanging when ever I try to shut it down. When the shudown screen appears, the machine wont power off even after so much of hours. This laptop has a 1.7ghz processor and 1gb of ram installed on my machine and also has 1gb of sd card from the ReadyBoost. I have only made a setup of wireless network just before this problem started to happen with the linksys router. Any ideas?

Even I was having similar issue and I found out that the USB wireless adapter is the cause of this problem. I cant say for sure that it could also be caused by a wireless card but you dont know what system you use to connect wirelessly. I think that until Linksys provides a Vista compatible drivers we have to wait for the same.
