Error 0x80780035 while creating new system restore point

I have a Vista Ultimate system. I bought a 64bit hardware for better output. When I try to create a system restore point I am getting error. The first one is 0x80780035 and the second one is 0x8004231F. When I checked about the error I found this is due to some less space in the system. I also found that the error is related to some Volume Shadow Copy. How to fix the same.

I will advice you to run system recovery. If it is a OEM product then there is a partition that has your original Windows. Run the recovery and then check back. It is related to failure of some internal component. You cannot do much in that. It is useless to go for the manual process. If you are aware about increasing the size limit of Volume Shadow Copy then play with wbadmin.exe command line. Try to put the service on automatic mode to avoid the error.

There is a nice guide below which gives you each and every detail about System Restore. I think you must refer this once. It will help you to understand the issue behind your problem. Recovery is a good fix, as it will provide you all settings back as they were before. But do not forget to take a data backup and then go for that.
