    error WindowsUpdate_80073712

    I am running Windows Vista on my computer and when I am trying to do C:\Windows\system32>reg delete HKLM\COMPONENTS /v StoreDirty
    Delete the registry value StoreDirty (Yes/No)? </quote>
    Delete the registry value StoreDirty (Yes/No)? yes
    then I am getting the following error: The system was unable to find the specified registry key or value.

    What should I do to fix this issue?

    If you want to fix this problem, use one of the following methods given in the below link. For these methods to work, you must be logged on to your computer by using a computer administrator user account. Or, you must be able to supply a user account name and password for an account that has administrative credentials. If you are using your home computer, chances are that you are already logged on by using a computer administrator user account:
