Entire Windows Desktop screen has shrunk!

I am using Windows Vista Home Basic on Sony Vaio laptop since a month and it was all working great. Today morning when I started the laptop I found that my screen is shrink to the center of Screen. There is a blank black space all around the screen. I guess it is because of the resolution but I dint found option to change the screen size. Somebody please help me out for the same. Thank you.

That is very simply friend. Just type “Adjust Screen Resolution” in the start menu and enter. Here you will see a drop down with various resolutions but you will find one mentioned with (Recommended). Select the same and Apply. That’s it.
