Visual C++ Runtime Library Error

I am running Windows Vista Premium 64 bit. Recently started getting some problem with the same. About 5 to 7 times a day, I use to get the following error while using Internet Explorer:

“C:\Program Files (x86)\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information.”

Any help regarding the same will be appreciated.

Probably there is any addon or plugin with your Internet Explorer that is causing the problem. Just to to IE, click Tools, manage Addons and Disable all Addons. Now see if you are getting any such problem yet.

Well that worked I guess, thanks for the help. BTW, when I disabled all add-ons my browser got stuck completely. So, I opened task manager and killed all 3 process related to IE. Restarted the browser again and now (its been 8 hours) it is working fine. There is no error any more regarding Visual C++ Runtime Library. But now the problem is I am not able to close IE normally.

3 process in task manager about IE ? It should be just one. I think your system is infected with any malware or so because showing multiple instances about a program is a good sign of that.

So I think you need to download any good malware removal and scan your system properly.
