    Unknown task in windows\system32\config\regback\software

I am using Windows Vista x64 system. It has a Core 2 Quad processor. I found that there are number of weird task triggered from System32 folder. I had provided the location below. Each of those task are triggered on their own and I think they are not really needed. I just want to know that how can I stop those task which are not required. Thanks.
    • C:\windows\system32\config\regback\software
    • C:\windows\system32\config\regback\system
    • C:\windows\system32\config\regback\Sam
    • C:\windows\system32\config\regback\security
    • C:\windows\system32\config\regback\Default

You can ignore them. They does not look like task. There can be some kind of backup performed by the system and due to which those task are listed. If you still are suspicious then you can download and install Hijackthis in your system. This is a kind of system scanner software which gives you information on each applications running in the system. You can go in Control Panel > Schedule Task and get rid of those which are not needed.

I found that registry backup on my system is giving too much trouble. I am using Windows Vista x64 system. I am having a HP laptop. The system is overclocked and still it response too slowly. I checked properly the issue lies with Vista only. There are tons of duplicate backup created which eats lot of system resources.

I had tried to test my system with number of different applications, but yet not got the right solution. To improve the system output you have to reduce the applications which loads on startup or simply block all the task. I thought there would be some kind of application which can do this.
