I have a Windows Vista Ultimate SP1 beta running desktop and a Vista laptop connected to the same router via Ethernet. The problem am facing is with Vista Desktop. Whenever it awake from sleep, it just don’t want to connect internet. Though the system tray network icon says “Local and Internet”, no websites open on IE or any other browser.
At the same time my Vista laptop works fine after awaking from sleep. So its obvious that there is no problem with my router. As per troubleshooting, I tried running “Diagnose and Repair”, Unplugging and replugging the Ethernet cable, disabling ethernet and re-enabling, changed power settings to never turn the monitor or computer off, and many more but none of them helped to get rid of this annoying problem.
Can anyone here provide me permanent solution for the same?
