Installing Novell Client on Windows Vista

I have a Windows Vista desktop at home. Due to some reason I need to install Novell Client on my system but every time I try installing the same, it gives me an error message and installation quits. There is incompatibility message or something. Did anyone successfully installed Novell Client on their Vista successfully?

Nope, I don’t think anyone have had installed because as far as i know there is no Vista-compatible version of Novell client released yet. You will need to wait until they launch one for Vista edition.

Personally I don’t think Novell is so much necessary because even if you have NetWare 6.5 installed then you can access the NetWare server with any edition of Vista using NFA/CIFS. Just remember that you will need to tweak the Vista authentication handling. By the way if you really want to go with Novell Client only, then there is a preview build available for download.
