Local Only + Code 10!!!

My friend owns an HP laptop and he's been trying to connect to the wireless network. We've tried almost everything to get it to work but it seems like it's just not going to work. Weird part is that he can actually connect to the internet on other networks!

The router is Cisco E2000 and I bought it not too long ago, and both my other roommate (PC) and I (MAC) can connect to the internet with no problem.

On top of the "local only" thing, under the "network adapters" NVIDIA nForce Ethernet thing has a yellow "!" on it saying that it cannot start (code 10).

if you are having issue with the error code 10 then maybe there is issue with the device which has been caused by some temporary issue within the device manager or maybe this is happen because of hardware issues. so i will suggest you to reboot your system maybe it will solve your issue. i hope this will help you if you are still having any confusion then post back here.
