I bought a new laptop with Windows Vista. Yesterday I configured Windows mail with all myPOP3 Accounts. Now the problem am facing is when I click to send any new message to anyone with any account, it gets failed and shows me the following the error:
"The message could not be sent. The authentication setting might not be correct for your outgoing e-mail [SMTP] server. For help solving this problem, go to Help, search for "Troubleshoot Windows Mail", and read the "I'm having problems sending e-mail" section. If you need help determining the proper server settings, please contact your e-mail service provider."
I have never faces any such problem with Outlook or Outlook Express. I tried getting some help from Comcast guys but there unable to help me fixing this. Any suggestions please ?
