    Help with STOP: c0000135 {Unable To Locate Component} Basendwv32

    I know there are several post on this site for this general error. The error i have, which is a BSOD on startup, i can not find anywhere not even on Microsoft's KB. I started running a virus scanner and this popped up in the middle of scanning. I do not have my Virus Scanner auto heal/delete anything so im unsure what went on with it. Any help would be good.

    STOP:
    c0000135 {Unable To Locate Component}
    This application has failed to start because basendwv32 was not found.
    Re-installing the application may fix this problem.

    How does this pertain to Windows Update, Lance? Windows version?

    <QP>
    0xC0000135: UNABLE_TO_LOCATE_DLL
    Windows attempted to load a DLL file and encountered some error condition.
    Among the many possible causes are that the file is missing or damaged, or
    that there is Registry corruption.
