    Windows Update 80072EE2 Error

    Hello all, I have been having an issue for quite some time with
    Windows Update in Vista. I cant connect to the service and I keep
    getting error 80072EE2 (so I cannot install updates), also I cannot
    install new versions of MSN Messenger (I found out that is directly
    related to the Windows Update problem).

    I followed the instructions of this link:

    But neither of those solutions worked for me. I tried analyzing the
    traffic with a protocol analyzer, and indeed there is communication
    between my host and Microsoft servers, so the problem could be a
    synchronization / timeout one.

    I am completely lost, if someone could help me I would be very
    grateful.
