I used this to deinstall the .net Framework 2.0:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/290301/
then i reinstalled the .net Framework 2.0 from here (choose your language):
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...d-aab15c5e04f5
after this i installed the KB928365 patch and now it works.

I found this a very helpful post something else I found out each time your
system has to uninstall and reinstall a program from the add and remove icon
in the control panel on your computer, if you still have trouble afterwards
completing the process by trying to redownload the patch KB928365 then go
through the process again and reboot your system with each uninstall and
reinstall that is done.
Yes you can reboot your system after each uninstall or reinstall action
first so yu don't need to go through the process again.
To reboot system press ctrl alt delete all atthe same time and click on
shutdown and click turn off not restart because sometimes your system does
notfully install programmes unlessyour computer is turned off
Hope you can understand what I mean
Thankyou so very much Phillip for your assistance it is appreciated.

Hey,
I wonder if anyone could help me? Im having the same problem with the
framework 2.0 security patch.
I tried to run this, the setup file that is --
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...lang=de&Family...
Then it comes up with this error -The installation package or a need
file could not be opened. Verify that the package exists and that you
can access it.
Does anyone know what I should do?
