Re: Error Code: 0x80070008 while trying to download

Please try this ... show hidden files, folders, and system files

Using Windows Explorer [ Start > All Programs > Accessories > Windows
Explorer ], navigate to the WINDOWS\SoftwareDistribution folder
    Open the Download folder
Delete *all contents* of the Download folder
    Now open the EventCache folder
Delete *all contents* of the EventCache folder

I have the same problem, but there's one file I can not delete in the
    "EventCache" folder: {3CCB0633-42AF-4BF6-90CD-187E7BEB9C8B}.bin

Note that's a B not an 8 in the last digit.

    Try this:

Ok, here I am too. Same error code, done all you said to do, but to no avail.

Here I paste a little more than the last 40 lines of the WindowsUpdate.log
file, let me know what you think.
