windows 7 updates error code 646

Greetings I installed windows 7 enterprise. Each time I try to do an update i
get error code 646. I've manually installed office 2007 sp2. It still shows
this as an update, and when i do that it fails with error code 646. What have
i done wrong here, and why does this show as an update when its installed
already. I appreciate any assistnace and thank you.
