Flash video hangs but audio works properly

I am noticing from last few weeks that all flash videos have a startup delay. The video buffer is speedily done and the audio also starts immediately but the video hangs there upto 10 seconds at the first frame and then after this delay, it will work normally to catch the audio and will play fine. I have installed the latest Flash version in my computer already, so what else should I do to fix this problem? Thanks

Recently Adobe Flash Player was updated to version 14, so have you made sure that you have this latest version installed in your pc? Have you tried changing the Video hardware acceleration settings? You can also try to check your video card drivers and see if it is not giving any troubles. Just remove and reinstall the latest graphics driver as well. If it is possible then can you also try to play the flash video locally on your computer by downloading it from youtube or any other place?

Can you try to delete teh flash player cache and see if that works for you. To do that close all the browser windows and then open your System Control Panel and then open the Flash Player Control Panel. After that choose the Storage tab and click the "Delete All" button. Also note that the Advanced tab also contains a Delete All button which has the same function. Now check mark the "Delete All Site Data and Settings" checkbox and then click the Delete Data button. The Flash cache is now cleared and now you can restart your browser.

If RealPlayer is installed on your system, please disable the RealPlayer Browser Record plug-in. To do that follow the below steps:
    1. Launch RealPlayer
    2. Click the RealPlayer icon in the upper left corner of the window and choose Preferences.
    3. Choose Download & Recording from the left hand panel
    4. Uncheck "Enable Web Download & Recording for these installed browsers"
    5. Click OK and close RealPlayer
    6. Restart Firefox
