unable to launch software in windows 7, getting error 0xc0000005

I am having a 2 year old laptop which is running on Windows 7. I dont use it most of the time. Today when I started the laptop, then I found out that I am not able to access any software on this laptop. Also, if I boot to the desktop then I get too many errors for the default programs which says "The application was unable to start correctly (oxc0000005)". Can anyone tell me how to solve this problem? Thanks

Try to do a System Restore and see if that is working for you or not. To do that disable your internet connection and then open Control Panel. After that open Program and Features and then click on View installed updates and then find the security update for microsoft windows KB2859537. Now uninstall this update and then restart your computer. After your computer boots, go to Windows updates and then hide the same update that is KB2859537. Now reconnect your internet connection and then fix your System Restore feature.

There could be a possibility that there might be some trojan or virus in your pc that is not letting you to open any programs. So what you need to do is scan your computer with some antivirus software like Microsoft Security Essentials or else Malwarebytes Antimalware software. You can download this free antivirus by searching it on the net.

If nothing is working for you then restart your computer and then then at the BIOS screen press F8 to get Advanced Boot Options. After that select Repair your computer menu and then select the US keyboard language and then click Next and then select your user account and then click net. After that insert the Windows 7 installation disc and then restart your pc. Now try to repair your pc and see if that works.
