Adobe Online Services cant be removed from welcome screen even after disabling it

    Hello,
Even when I am trying to disable the Adove Online Services via the correct group policy, which is actaully bEnableAcrobatHS that is set to 0, I can still see that the Adobe Online Services is a part in the welcome screen with an entry listed for "Get documents signed". I was thinking that this policy should be hidden from both? Does anyone have any clue about it? Thanks

If you are using the Adobe Reader XI (11.x) version of so, then try to use the Adobe Customization Wizard XI and then open the MSI and go to the section called "online and adobe online services". Here you have to tick a box that will say "disable the tools pane in reader". After changing that if it is asking about some missing setup.ini file, then simply make a blank text file with setup.ini name in the same folder as the MSI file. Now, you need to deploy using the GPO and ensure that MST modification file is included or you can simply run the MSI installer manually as well.

Well, if you want disable acrobat.com features then you will have to set some of the values from this regsitry key - [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Adobe\(product name: Adobe Acrobat or Acrobat Reader)\(version: 9.0 or 10.0)\Workflows to 0, for example, to disable all acrobat.com access, including shared reviews that use acrobat.com change the value of bEnableAcrobatHS to 0. For more information visit this website - http://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/di...at-reader.html

Yes, you will need to set the below registry key to get rid of the sign panel and also the link from the Online Features menu when the application launches. You simply have to find the setting to get rid of the adobe online services menu from the startup as well:
    HKLM\SOFTWARE\Policies\Adobe\(product name)\(version)\FeatureLockdown\cServices\ DWORD: bEnableSignPane = 0
