I dont think that vlc player is available for apple ipad. But you can get AVPlayerHD as an alternative that can play any file format video if you want. Below is a list of video format that is supported by this apple ipad
- Support High quality video clips ( 720P, 1080P ) - MKV,AVI,MP4,MOV,M4V
- XVID,AVI,WMV,RMVB,ASF,H264,MKVā¦ most of all movie file formats.
- SMI, SRT, TXT, SubStationAlpha Subtitles
I need vlc full free version for my apple i pad so that i don't need to convert videos for my i pad ..i tried finding it on tunes store but no free version
You can get an alternative you can download the CineXPlayer HD which is able to run files in almost any format – such as MKV, .avi and others and includes support for subtitled (.srt) files, as well as TV/VGA/HDMI Output. You can download it from this link - https://itunes.apple.com/in/app/cine...384098375?mt=8
I am looking for free one
Thanks for the advice my ipad is jailbreak and i installed MoliPlayer HD etc and i can play vob format videos on it but some of vob format audio is not supported and when i click on it then it says that u have to buy audio codecs....all i do to convert videos for my ipad but when i convert a video the subtitles remain no longer
Now i am looking for a converter that not only convert vids fast but also it makes no changes to the subtitles of the vids....
I have heard of a tool called Movies2iPhone that might add .srt subtitles to your movies and could your ipad device. Download it by searching it from google and then after you have converted a video in C:\myVideos\video.avi, then your subtitles file needs to be in C:\myVideos\video.srt as well. This all subtitles will get automatically inserted in your movie at the time of conversation.
thanks will try it
