Cut and Format Painter functions don't work in Excel 2007

Hi all,

My Cut and Format Painter functions don't work in Excel 2007 properly.

1. When I Cut a row and want to paste it between different rows, Excel doesn't offer Insert Cut Cells option. Even after I insert a new row and paste it, the original row still stays there (like I would be using Copy function) and it doesn't paste the format. It does the same when cutting/pasting a cell.

2. My Format Painter function does not work at all. I highlight a cell(s), click on the Format Painter and when I click on a cell(s) I want to format, it doesn't do anything.

Anyone can help please?

I think that the Events of Excel will often clear the Clipboard, which is what the format painter does. That is, paste formats only. You can over-come this when needed by showing the Control Toolbox Toolbar via View>Toolbars and pushing the Edit Mode button. This will trun OFF ALL events.

How do I find View>Toolbars? When I click on View, I can't see it there.
