Recently I subscribed to DirecTv. I want to burn DVDs on my laptop. I have a HR24-200 HD DVR. I am planning to burn NFL games which are completely filled in my DVR. Does slysoft can help me to solve this problem or I want to get the new DVR?

I have a DirecTv from many moons. They consist of propriety format for the DVR recordings which is unable to read from PC. I can’t find any solution until I found that we can connect the external DVD recorder. In my case it is DVD\VCR combo box. I run the DirecTv using this combo box. When I want to save something in DVD then I follow these steps:
1) I place the Blank DVD inside the recorder.
2) Then play the program using DVR
3) On the recorder just hit the pause each and every time when the commercial is displayed.
Then I have a DVD of the program. I can play it in any player

In my PC I have Clone DVD .I has Acer laptop with MatSHITa drive but it doesn’t seem to work.
I have not used the software from many times. Have no idea whether clone DVD has this capacity but before I used to rip DVDs. seeing all these things I would like to get new laptop in the future. I would like to get any suggestion regarding new laptop?

If you are a person who burns lots of DVDs or CDs . Then honestly get a new laptop. The new laptops that you are buying just see that it will be with replaceable driver. I have seen most of the laptop drivers are simply just useless.
