By mistake I deleted (actually uninstalled) the sound driver from my computer and now I could not able to find a correct one for this. My system is Compaq Evo D510SFF. Does anyone have this?

I don’t know why you are asking the question here instead directly search for drivers on the HP official website. There you will get every driver for each model. No matter what components driver it may be, you will get it for Windows OS freely. However if you didn’t able to find it yet then try one here. I got this from HP.
- First of all you need to download and unpack the Windows XP driver.
- There you need to locate the Setup.exe. You can get it in C:\swsetup\SP27103
- Right-click on it and choose Properties
- Go to the Compatibility Tab
- Check the "Run this program in compatibility mode for Windows XP" box as well as "Run this program as administrator"
- Apply changes and exit from there
- Now Run Setup and it will automatically installs.
Before downloading and installing a sound driver or codecs, check the connection of the speakers. Double-click the volume (lower right of your screen, taskbar) and Note that the sliders are up and the mute option is unchecked.
