    Recuva 1.42.544 (64-bit) upgrade bug

    just recently I have upgraded to the Recuva 1.42.544 (64-bit) and since then I am getting this issue. As soon I launch in to the application it direct me to the message that says that he upgrade is available and if I go official web page it says the new software is available with the version number 1.42.544 (64-bit), the same one that ma currently using and installed on my system . this look as if bug to me , all other software form the Piriform don’t have this issue . is there anyone tell me why this is happen and what should I do to get rid of this problem .

    This is really strange , did you try to uninstalled the application the reboot the system and reinstall the application , does this help you and it will be great if you tell me what Operating system are you using just post little more information

    Thanks for the reply , I am using the Windows 7 - 64 bit which is Germany version which up to date with all the update from the Microsoft installed. Also I have already done the uninstalled and re-installed Recuva 1.42.544 (64-bit), but I m still facing the similar issue it give me this message new version (1.42.544) is available for download, and I am really getting to annoyed because of this please guys I will really appreciate any help

    I have some what the same issue with my Recuva application , I know this is really irritating but to be on the safer side are you running recuva under the debug mode , since sometime that may cause few issue on the application

    Hey even I am suffering from the same issue with my system. I am running Windows 7 HP 64-bit and Recuva v1.42.544 (64-bit). And every time when I check for the update it gives me version, 1.42.544 is available as a new version, I done everything but nothing is helping me even the uninstalling and reinstalling seems to be useless

    Look like very common issue to me got this application today it giving the update prompt that lead me to the same build. And there doesn’t seems to have any kind of bug that need to be address

    Can you tell me if by any way you have installed any updater like the Filehippo updater. Its some time the updater software try to alert when a new version of a file is ready. So I was thinking that if you have installed ant such kind of application . just check the add remove list to see if you have any type of application. In manu cases this kind of application let you to choose to select the what kind of application to monitor for new versions

    Thanks for the reply but I really don’t see any kind updater that installed on my system , it is defiantly look like the bug to me and is need to be assisted , does anyone has anynews where the they are fixing this bug on the next release. Hope they do
