Any idea about Miscellaneous Caches remove in CCleaner for Mac

This is probably the first time I am using this application and when I ran this application I see the Caches" under the Miscellaneous category. It was containing near above 3 GB . I have the CCleaner (1.00.077 Beta) installed here is the detail

Miscellaneous
Caches 3,758,236 KB 11,824 files


Is there anyone here can tell me what exactly is this file . what it does I will be really appreciating

This to me looks as if a various system caches or other program caches not covered by System categories. I don’t use the mac so I not able to answer this question properly as I don’t know how is the Mac machine works . don’t know the CCleaner is it like the windows version where you be able to make out inside the application given the right command.

I am using the CCleaner as well on my Mac SYSTEM and came across the same thing . what is that and why is it taking so much of Disk space. I can find any info on this in internet as well . can anyone tell me where does this Caches come from

Well as far as I know That rule handles files that is on the following folder

~/Library/Caches
/Library/Caches
/private/var/folders/.../-Caches-/
