    What to select while using CCleaner

    just installed this application on to my computer , and this will be my first time that I am using this software to clean my PC . I heard it through my friend about this well here comes my first question on this application , I am running Windows 7 32 bit an what should I select in all the boxes . I did run this software earlier and this is all the option that I kept selected

    • Show prompt to back up register issue
    • Enable Windows Jump List Tasks
    • Everything on the Registry cleaner



    This Is is that I didn’t selected

    • Auto complete Form History and Saved Passwords from the Internet Explorer
    • Network Passwords on Windows Explorer
    • In the system
    • The Windows Error Reporting
    • DNS Cache and the Font Cache
    • Start Menu Shortcuts
    • Desktop Shortcuts
    • Nothing is selected on Advanced



    Is this selections correct can anyone here can tell me about this I will be really be great full to this thanks

    No one can answer to this question properly as that is the question of personal judgment, who need to work out about what is that you need and what is best for your computer . So I suggest that you yourself decide that you want and what you don’t want to delete .

    Yeah I just agree with the poster above, he is right about what he is saying and if this is confusing you so much then just go with the default setting of the CCleaner that will be good for you in time being.

    As far as the website option goes I would like to suggest that you should Choosing "Cookies to keep if you need to retain the login information like on-line passwords for various sites because those are saved on the cookies.

    Hey can I ask you something after doing all other cleaning I get to the cookies option. I have selected the many thing into the save column. However I can find any button that can allow me to remove it . I don’t want to save me, is there something that I am missing .

    Not to worried there will be the vertical bar down the middle with arrow buttons. Just select anyone or more cookies on one side and hit the correct button to shift them to the other side. Hope this help

    Well Cookie Section was cleaned on the usual cleaning

    The fact that the cookies you need to keep is on the right hand side. On the CCleaner in the cleaner section put the checkmark on the cookies of the every browser listed and you can also find it in the

    • Applications
    • Multimedia
    • Adobe Flash Player

    Hit the Analyze and check the cookies you need to remove are now listed plus hit the Clean and check that the cookies you want to delete are now moved out
